Just wondering has anyone ever fished warrenpoint beach. Might give it a fish night over the christmas holidays.

remember a few years ago 4 lads fishing the opposite shore to the south - plugging away for bass

does it have the ledges like the southern side of that bay?

yeah there is a good stretch along there. just wondering would it be decent to fish the beach. I will probably try and fish it the next southerly wind, cheers coby

The beach itself is really shallow until you get closer to the pier then your able to fish straight into the channel, used to be plenty of dogs from there, plenty of mullet there in the summer with the chance of thornies at slack water closer to rostrevor.

A lot of Bass in the lough this year, I heard of them up as far as narrow water.........
