People:Me and Paul Bracken

Duration:4pm -10pm

Tide: 12am ish high

Weather: nice surf, cold

Bait:lug, razor, peeler

Rigs:2/3 hook flappers, pulley rigs.

Results: Me 4 bass, 5 rockling, 1 whiting,
Paul 1 bass, 3 rockling 1 flounder,

Report:

Headed for ballyhealy on sunday afternoon. There was a good surf running
and it wasnt as cold as usual.
We both fished two rods one at distance with pulley rigs others 2/3 hook flappers in close.
All the fish were small and caught in close about 50 yds. Paul lost a good bass in the surf.
Plenty of bites and fish and it was an enjoyable session.
Razor and lug worked best.

As far as i am aware the borrow and furlongs road is full of small whiting could be a nuisance if anyway calm at all.
Few coalies there aswell. If there's a surf you have chance of a bass. Bit of a trek down there though.

Maybe i'm wrong now but i'd be surprised if you would be fishing forlorn point this is a rocky outcrop a couple of hundred yards to the right of the pier in kilmore quay. I would imagine it would be impossible to fish a comp off that.
There is a beach called furlongs road west of kilmore quay. Its situated 1km out the main ballyteigue road turn left down a lane and access can be gained to the beach here.
Or maybe your just taking the piss  .
Just for you info there anyway lads. :)
