thanks for that kieth i thought that myself but could not see the pronounced curve in the lateral line that a dab usually has !! :lol: :mrgreen:

Lads ye havn't a clue! It's a Halibut Turbot, you catch them on Buzz Bombs in Saleens in Waterford! :D

An auld fella down there used to spin the channel for Bass with Buzz bombs and everytime he snagged up and lost his gear he'd say...

It must of been one of them Halibut Turbots!! I heard they are big!! :D :D :D :D

You should try sliding your whole body along his back and if its rough and you experience chaffing Its a Dab :wink:

The one on the right with the orange and yelow spots and the big flippers is definitely a plaice :lol: :lol:
