Hi Frank i hope you havent jinkxed my Gilley
Then again he was fishing for 24 yrs to try and catch another Specimen Bass and then he eventually dose it with my help
mind you i think it did look like a DONEGAL bass
Pat fair play to you you deserved it
Frank you might have another contender to the title of Cork's Cortaz

At long last Danny you've access to a computer.
To be honest I've had a very lucky season. It's the first time I've had over the hundred mark, but by the way Frank is fishing I'll definitely be looking over my shoulder next season. He's on fire at the moment!

Yeah, headed out Friday, box of big fresh lugs, good surf, no cross wind, looked perfect but all I could catch were stalks of kelp - and one coalie
Definitely must have been the clean jacket

Re: More Bass from another East Cork beach - 1st December 2008
I blanked Sunday as well, went to Ballymacart in Waterford, good surf but kelp a bit of a problem at first. Two other guys fishing there also blanked apart from a small rocking caught by Barra.
I tried a feeder rig filled with chopped up razor and chopped/crushed peeler crab legs and claws that I had in the freezer for a few months - but not a bite.
I think you are right Dave
