Snapper From OZ

Here is a picture of a reasonable sized snapper that I picked up with the Kompressor S and Penn 525 mag last night . Bait was Squid strip on a pulley rig.

Fish was just under 3 kilograms unfortunately we didn't get any others which is a little strange as they are a schooling fish.

Still not complaining :mrgreen:

Ah a Pink Snapper, I caught a couple of small ones when I was over in Perth earlier this year, beautiful fish and they usually give a pretty good account of themselves aswell.

Dave ,

The funny part is down Portland way the one I got is only a small one as only a week or two earlier there were a few in the 9 Kilo range landed from the same area.
Hopefully if I can get away from work early enough I may get another crack at a few more of these :mrgreen:
