was going to go pluggin again but seemed like half ireland was around the area today and didn't want anyone to see me going to bass ambush cove. Nice fishing there Boss,

You have some great looking coast line down there, riddled with coves and the like, we were down around the parish yesterday looking for Cod, but we bookmarked a couple of spots that definitely have Bass wriiten all over them 8)

Excellent fishing. I was meant to get down this weekend but heavy fog late Friday made the 200 plus mile drive seem a lot longer. Hopefully in a fortnight.

Listen now! Don't go startin anything! From what I have seen Cortaz is a fantastic bass angler and his heart is in the right place when it comes to the species. I wasn't having a go at him in particular in my post yesterday and everyone has to admire his catches and his predictable fishing information.
I was only making a general comment. I have heard about wot happened later on and its just a pity things got out of hand. I never saw all the stuff that was said or supposed to have been said so I'm not gonna say anythin about it. It was gone off the site today. I'm goin to take the position that everyone is entitled to their opinion including cortaz. I have no anymosity towards him and I genuinely hope he has none towards me. I was out today pluggin for a while but I'm not goin to put up a report because I don't want the chap or anyone else gettin the wrong idea.

Like yourself I missed all the verbals,so i dont know what happened my reply was ment in jest, as in new kid on the block catching all his bass. im only new to fishing and have yet to catch a Bass  so when i see two people catching 400 Bass a year  it leaves you a bit flabbergasted. Fair play to both of you i like reading both of your reports and pictures and maybe pick up a tip or two, so keep posting in your reports while i dream here in Dublin of catching my first Bass

Barry,

didn't try for em with a while with the good amount of bass around. Was out today and will put up a post shortly. I try to target em with the north winds alright but I like a good strip in the tide too which we don't really have at the moment. Plus one night not long ago I went for em and gave up after 18 dogs and moved to another location trying for other species.

shoreking :)
