Mactackle.com
Good morning
I met the guys and gals from mactackle.com at the show and I got loads of stuff from them. I found their prices far better than town, one or two shops in town in particular are very expensive on everything. I think we all know the few shops Im talking about...
I think you might be mistaken on the Mag price, veals is even slightly more expensive on this. The one thing I would say is that they have really good value on rapala plugs and the like at just 8 euros each and the post above is bang on, cheapest Power Pro I've seen anywhere between here and the UK. 27 euros a spool for 300 yards, I read in Irish Angler an article about Power Pro which is usually priced at around 50 euros for the same spool.
Keep up the good work lads, great to see a decent Irish fishing tackle website at long last. Give them a shot lads - well recommended!

Emailed these chaps looking for some info, and they responded almost immediately, and were extremely helpful. This makes a nice change from the UK mail order shops, some of whom couldn't be bothered replying at all (bar Veals, who respond very quickly too). The prices are quite keen too (especially on the plugs as mentioned above). I'll be placing an order shortly methinks!
I've always found it nice to browse online, so it's good to finally see a decent Irish mail order outlet. Henry's tackle shop have done a similar thing recently, and their website is also very good (http://www.henrystackleshop.com/oscommerce/). I've always been looked after in there too, so would have no problem recommending them.

Yeah , I have bought on line- many raplas , travel fly rod ( well worth checking out, 5 piece and proctective case), spinning rod and a few other bits and bobs.
Equired by e mail so felt a little bit more secure after getting a reply. After my first order I then order over 300 EUR worth and had them delivered in Dublin within the week.
I can safely say I have already saved money by buying online from them than the few shops in the city centre. I can recommend them
Good to see we can buy from an Irish site as I have had problems in the past buying from the UK.
Keep it up!

Hi all
Also bought some lures from them at very good prices. Got a rapala from them for eight euro, having seen the same one in a certain temple bar tackle shop for €13, delivery took four days. Very happy with them so far, and the power pro is very good value, almost as cheap as buying in bulk from the states
