Any idea why big decrease in boat anglers this year and big increase in shore anglers :?:

I know the weather really screwed up the boats, not sure about shore

The increase in shore anglers was due to the bait restrictions, (rag, whites, maddies & crab banned). Didn't always make for great fishing but made preparing for a comp alot easier.

That is true-but some people wouldn't fish league legs because of the restrictions!

True, very much a catch 22 situation. I think overall the league benefited from the ban though.

I would totally agree Alby. The bait ban made the fishing much harder, especially on some venues, but I think on the whole, it helped league attendances, and I think it will do the same next year again. Hopefully I will make a few more next year.

A big thanks to JD for his excellent score keeping this year.
