HI LADS WONDERING IF ANY ONE COULD STEAR ME THE RIGH WAY I HAVE A 3 YR OLD DAIWA LONGBEAM LB S13OM 13 '' 2 SEC BEACH CASTER GOOD ALL ROUND ROD. ONLY PROB IS THE TOP EYELET HAS GAVIN WAY I.E. ITS CAME OFF THE ROD TIP THE EYELET IS IN PERFECT CONDITION TRIED TWICE TO GLUE IT BACK ON . COULD ANYONE RECOMMEND A TOUGH GLUE OR ANY OTHER WAY OF ATTACHING THE EYELET OR EVEN SOME ONE TO REPAIR I T?
you need some hot melt glue which you can get in most tackle shops. you need to make sure there is no glue residue left on the tip of the rod. cut a little bit off the stick of glue and put these pieces into the open hole of the tip ring. heat with a lighter until the glue turns runny. push the ring onto the end of the rod and quickly allign the rings before the glue sets.
hope this helps buddy
