Belmullet Marks

Will be holidaying in Belmullet in August, I would appreciate any info on marks and species, tackle shops and bait availability. Thanks guys.

There's a golf course somewhere about there with a small pier at it, Plenty of Rocky areas to cast from, Loads of Pollack to Jellyworms last time I was there... Don't as me for directions, Im on the other side of the Island. :lol:

Ballyglass pier. to the northeast of Belmullet - a fishier place you never saw. Fished a shortish daylight session there last summer, on a falling tide, had mackerel, pollack, a very surprising red codling, 2 doggies and a small conger - also saw a much bigger conger swimming about as I returned one of the fish. A beautiful, peaceful spot, you can drive right onto the quay, and on a rising evening tide has to be brilliant.
