couple of wexford marks

#1 Post by eric »

People:myself and shammoo

Duration: all day

Tide:ebbing

Weather: windy, raining and quite rough

Bait: frozen crab, lug, rag and mack
dd
Rigs: pulleys with 3/0

Results: 3 whiting, 1 dog and 1 schoolie

Report: hit one mark in south wexford for bass, conditions seemed ideal but we both blanked :oops:ended up on my back trying to climb down a grassy bank, the box was still strapped on so i couldn't get up, mark was about to take a photo, when quick thinking led to me unstrapping the box and rolling away. fell again on the way back to the car over a rock!!!! on the way home we hit another mark, quite surfy again, with waves breaking accross the bank, managed a few small whiting and a schoolie in the gutter, while mark got a dog and a whiting, hopefully the weather will pick up soon

Cheers rodger, sorry to hear you didnt have more joy after moving on saturday.

As eric says, yesterday was a wash out, dreadful days fishing given the distance travelled

Weather was pretty brutal, but atleast I'm getting some use out of my new beach buddy and waterproofs.

The doggie I got was the fattest I've seen in a long while.

Shame I didnt get my camera out in time to catch eric upside down tangled in the brambles, hanging by the strap on his box.....would have been the 2nd embarrasing photo he'd have had on the site in a week
