martin kennedy fishing in cork with Joe Lynch Oct 5th

A good days fishing with joe Lynch oct.5th, fishing from crosshaven, we caught cole fish, pollock, ling, best fish of the day was a 10Lbs cole fish caught on pink calcutta shads and a 14Lbs ling caught on shamrock conger gear. we fished wrecks 35miles off shore with ideal weather conditions .

thats some good fishing, blessed to get the flat calm conditions,

i must try out those calcutta shads

this may sound like an obvious question , but why do
you leave the rigs in the fishes mouths hours after they are dead? :shock:

i would have an uneducated guess and say its to show us the rig on which the fish was caught.

its something ive never done is a bit of wrecking, its nice to see what gets caught and some of the gears
