i'm thinking of buying 1 of these rods a friend of mine was at a trade show during the week and was talking to mike thrussell himself got had a very long talk with him about his range of tackle and had nothing bad to say about his fishing tackle, what i'de like to know has anybody used the 300mti r the 250mti what did you think of them for casting and bite detection.

Re: mti 300 rod
hey
i have the mti zero 300 and i can't fault the rod at all. it has great bite detection, casts really well my best cast with it is 198.4 yards and is nice and lite too. i've used it for whiting, doggies, conger, flounder well pretty much everything and it copes really well on the rough ground and on the clean ground. if you get 1 of these you well not regret it.
cheers jonny
