there getting harder to get now but sometackle shops in your area should still have ones for sale, failing that you would have to depend on a bait collector to sell them to you mate!!!!!this time of year they can be quite expensive aswell.

There are 4 places to buy proper peelers in cork. Sharkies sells them for 1 euro a crab and they are normally decent crab. He also has froozen crab available. The cork angling centre are charging 1.50 a crab and they are no different to the other two shops quality wise. Halfway angling centre has them for 1 euro a crab, fresh and frozen and Peter Horn also has crab available also 1 euro each. I think its a bit of a disgrace that they are 50 cent more expensice in the cork angling centre. Especially considering you normally have to bring the crab home and bring them on for about a week before they are ready to use!!!! And as the other lads have said velvets also available in Murray's. Never really had much success with them though. Best to get your own tyres down and settled before next major peels next year.

species for 2010 (27)
species for 2011 (12)
species for 2012 (8)
best advice for catching species is girls dont like fishing and its hard to catch fish when you sell all your gear'
