Shakespeare Salt Bass and Flattie Beach Rod

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

I bought the Salt bass and for the money i paid im thrilled with it. i paid €70 for it in cork and it comes with fuiji eyes and rod seat. has good rubber grips rather than the foam gri i think its better becuase you get a good grip with wet hands. the action is brillant and a good cast is eay to achieve with a fixed spool or multipiler. Defintly worth looking at

I have the SALT Spinning and the SALT MPV. Both are excellent in my opinion. For the price I don't think the range can be beat. There are so many great combo deals out there (UK) paired with Penn Captiva reels as well...

I just ordered the UGLY Stick Lite 10' spinning rod and the Penn Sargus (5000) reel and waiting for them in the mail.. hopefully it will be up to the same standard.
