there all very good rods for the money,i have a big beach and its a cracking rod .i have also used the rock rod and the surf all imho great rods .i take it you want it for close in work and bass if not have a look at the surf or estury rods !!!!!!!!

Heard the rings arent too good on the x+bait rods...havent seen them myself but have read on a previous site that more than one person had problems with the rings.
Besides that people seem to like the rods...

thanks for the info lads :wink: i really only want it for messin about with small baits and pier work im fed up with my good zippy fallin on the ground when wind blows the stand over :evil:

Had a feel of the Imax bi(2) ceps rods ages ago...seem pretty good.
Think Gerry's are selling them for £99.99 and they come with good fuji rings...supposed to be a lot of rod for the price!!

Alright Bal!
Was out last night, down Ennereilly way...sacks of Whiting with the odd Flounder and Dab, headed home before the rain!

Havent done too much lately...am gonna get started again..something about the winter fishing that you cant beat!
Bit of luck we'll get another run of coalies on the pier like i remember we got one evening..jesus!!

I'll prob see you down the pier, the usual haunt for the quick midweek trips!

i remember it alright mate that was great fishing tried it last night but no joy maybe not rough enough only whiting there last night not bad size but defo not coalie size had a load of mussel crab and lug thought i might have got a few coalies but no joy :cry: ,might get out over the weekend if your free
