These records will all be amended after the finals this sunday as the majority of leads will be cast.

thats a hell of a cast 227 yards on 175 gms, where i think the 200
gms falls down is the fact nobody wants to risk breaking their rods
on it , the 175 could fall into that catorgory also, the conoflex scorpion
sport could take on both leads no problem,

All done without a finger stall. I cringe every time I watch him cast

Our records must be leinster records then ? The old IMASA held the official irish records . Sportcast ireland have taken over from IMASA in the running of casting in ireland in the same way UKSF run casting in the uk . There can be clubs etc like a munster casting club or a leinster club etc but sportscast ireland are the new IMASA for records and teams etc ! Thats why sportscast ireland was set up .

I think this was all sorted out years ago between IMASA and the old North Down Casting Club and i think ther was another club too, thats why Sean has his casts down on your whos who section as Ulster records!! I would have thought that you guys were in the same boat as the UKSF

surely somebody can cast with a fixed-spool its not really that hard,
wouldnt be to difficult to throw a cap over the UCC fixed-spool casting
records. im sure josie is a very good caster indeed.

You would have to cast at a ucc event to claim a ucc record ! Ive seen josie hit them with the fixed spool and he is very good !
