People:myself and jack

Duration:7 to 10pm

Tide: ebbing

Weather:dd very gusty and cool

Bait:mack,lug,rag and sandeel
dd
Rigs: 1 hook clip down and flappers

Results: 5 bearded rockling, pouting, dogfish, whiting and huss




Report: used up the bait from yesterdays comp this evening on a local mark, was hoping for a cod or two off this mark, especially after yesterdays blow though it was not to be. fishing started slow with only a rockling and pouting between us,crabs where a real problem stripping the baits within seconds. jack missed a lovely slack liner, definitley a cod or decent coaley given the ground we where on. however he followed up with two fine whiting approaching the 30cm mark and two dogs. i managed 2 dogs and a small huss at distance my new conoflex viking raider. was happy enough, jack wins this leg of the 5 euro league with a convincing performance, missing a good few bites, i shoulda been hammered. league stand at 2 wins to 1 to me.

its actually now a league the winner will be decided on December the 31st and will receive a shiny 5 euro note with 2.50 for longest round and longest flat, a real league for real anglers :lol: :lol: :wink:

i know yourself and corbyeire are just too competitive, i cant keep up :wink: :lol: :lol: seriously i was just happy to land a huss of that beach after i previously lost one around 8lbs in the suds a few years ago

Finally a win! Ive beaten him before but there was nothing to win :D . Is deffo a huss. Annoyed I missed that firts bite.
