Report: one of the lads i had fished the esturary earlier showed me a new spot on the way home - was certainly fishy looking and the terrain matched his discription to the nearest metre
said he never fished it himself or saw anyone ever fish there - but as soon as i got to the end of the disued pier there was a 5oz lead sitting there - found out later who had fished it the night before
long story short was expecting some flounder in the shallows and maybe a dog - out far
got a great wallop on the flatty rig on the top hook to a sandeel
convinced it was a sea trout but turned out to be a big mackeral
crabs were fairly busy
stopped feeding them and packed it in
will defo be back for more!
