People:myself 2 others

Duration: 12.30 - 3

Tide: low at 2.15

Weather: threatening rain - but always missed us

Bait: mack, sandeel, squid

Rigs: pennell pulley

Results: blank for me, one of the others got a strap

Report: hadnt fished the esturary before a learning experience - lads were losing rigs as the tide was dropping - i was lucky - crabs very efficient

then as it dropped more - more clean ground was reached - less snagged

then the conger showed - hope was restored

but suddenly dashed with huge rafts 2m wide of weed floating about - rigs gone - didnt look like moving so packed up

definitely potential there - and good to meet an old head :D
