People:Big Al/Big Ed/Gary/myself

Duration: 10:30pm to 11:45

Tide: Ebbing

Weather: light winds no rain

Bait: mac stripes

Rigs: pullyrigs 3/0 hooks

Results: for myself 2 thornies and 1 dogie


finished work 8 pm got to the house phone rang the lads were at the pier come down for a bit of crack so down i go the lads have had doggies and thornies right left and centre before i got there so i set up had to borrow lead and a hook bait and a torch and hoody cast out thinking i could be in bed warm as i am up for work early when bang a hard hit on the rod struck it straight into a nice thornie released it rebaited cast out hadn't even the rod out of my hand when pull pull strike into a doggie another qiuck pic and released cast out again about 6/7 mins when the rod moved across the rail on the pier started to reel in a good fighting thronie blanked the next 2/3 casts and it was getting cold so packed up but it was a good nights crack and worth the run down see the pics :mrgreen

and nice pic's too, that pier always fish'es better at this time of the year, have had a few short sessions off there this last week with plenty of rays, doggies and coalies.
nice catch mate for just over an hours fishing 8) well done!!!
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
right i'am off for a swally!!!!!!! so were's the F***'n purse!!!!!!!
