Report:decided to make the best of wheather today went and dug some lug and headed to wicklow pier nice and handy,got there at 7 got the trace baited up and droped it in close, hadin put the rod down when it started banging away struck and reeled in 2 nice fat whiting about 25cms,the fishing keep up like that for the hole time i was there after an hour or so reeled in my 1st codling of the year .there was two other lads fishing there too they had the same nights fishing as i did one of them got his 1st ray a tornie all be it the size of a butterfly. tiny it was the smallest one ive ever seen anyway but still manged to get a 3/0 hook down him .the rain started and the bait getting low decided head home and watch the end of americas next top model

your right there sham the last good i seen of it was about 5 years ago 8 or 9lb may just keep tryin it and hope for the best

nice fishing spud well done on the codling ricer was tellin us he is gettin a few in with the lobster pots at the mo out by the mile marker to the east or wherever he has his pots down worth a shot outta the boat 3 pound weight which aint bad .

well the budet had know affect on me as u know outta work for a while he hammered they rich and i aint that so **** it. cant make it wednesday heading up to the match with gino cmon ireland keep in thouch and we will organise something shortly.
