All,
Hitting Ennereilly for first time next Saturday on a quest for Bass. Have a fair idea how to get there there but just wondering which part of beach is best and how to access it?

Re: Ennereilly Access, Wicklow
I ALWAYS FISH OUT FROM THE TWO HUMPS THERE IS A PATHWAY THAT YOU CAN TAKE TROUGH THE SAND DUNES THE ENTRANCE IS TO THE SIDE OF AN OLD ABANDONED HOUSE WATCH OUT FOR THE ELECTRIC FENCE, HORSES AND THE NUDE MEN IN THE DUNES WHEN THEY START RUNNING AT YOU ITS NOT YOUR BAIT THEY ARE AFTER.
YOU COULD ALSO FISH THE SOUTH BEACH AS WELL AND THERE IS A LITTLE COVE BETWEEN ENNEREILLY AND BRITTAS WHICH FISHES GREAT FOR BASS WITH A SOUTH EASTERLY BLOWING THE ENTRANCE TO THAT BEACH IS THROUGH A FIELD BESIDE THE HOUSE WHICH IS ON TOP OF THE HILL BEFORE YOU GET TO BRITTAS. IT WILL BECOME MORE CLEAR WHEN YOU GET DOWN THERE.

Wish list for 2015: sword tail, black Molly, horny cobbler

Re: Ennereilly Access, Wicklow
I'm heading out towards Wicklow later on this evening. Have planned it for a week or so now with the brother and a mate. Hoping the winds die off of course
I was heading for Greystones or maybe nearer Arklow. Anybody have any suggestions of other spots or even a decent mark in between? Hoping to crack my bass duck all going well.

Not a sausage. Was there yesterday for 6 hours, fished all kinds of baits and didn't even get a bite !
could be the neap tide but I think I'll fish closer to home next time.......
