Re: new greys g mag multiplier
thats what they look like to me too. if they are a cross between them two reels that has to be a good thing, as they are two fine reels.

Re: new greys g mag multiplier
Same here, i heard nothing good on them so far!!
one caster i know had 2 casts and it was un castable after that
gears went and it kept re-engaging..
Havnt had a wang of one yet myself but after some of the stories i dont think i want to, i would have expected more from greys TBH

Re: new greys g mag multiplier
they certainly wont have a future with reels like that ,they would be better listining to big mack .
Re: new greys g mag multiplier
A mate of mine in the UK has trialled one. He thought it was crap. Poor build quality plus the reel easily engages gear on the cast. I believe his was a pre-production version though - so maybe they will improve.

Re: new greys g mag multiplier
Difficult to see sea angler give a bad review on any product (especially with any of there larger bread and butter companies).
After all these people are part of the media and can paint any picture to suit there own needs.
Best to stick to the boards for the best unbiased reviews.
This post been a prime example.

Re: new greys g mag multiplier
heard a lot of people breaking greys rods. see how the reels fair after a year or two of use, plus its the mk1, future issues might iron out problems.
