the problem is finding good long rod! so far i can only see a few that seem almost good for the job. most of the long rods seem to be designed for blasting one out, with their stiffish tips. in saying that the internationals have used really light snoods with them- i don't know???? help! personally i would like a longish (15') soft tipped, through actioned rod for casting up to 100 yards with a lighter lead range, something like 1-3oz. why do they make flattie/ estuary rods so short, at under 12 feet when anglers usually use long snoods and rig bodies when fishing for flounder, or in estuaries?? i don't know???? i want to get a rod built! where's Terry Carol??!!!
