Malahide-23/09/08

People:Me and my brother

Duration:6pm to 9pm

Tide:high and two hours low

Weather:windy but fine

Bait:blueys,sand eel, peeler,mack and squid...
dd
Rigs:one hook flapper and pulley

Results:a baby smoothound, a gunard and a couple of whiting and a lot of crabs....




Report:After work decided to go fishing... the sea was a bit rough but no weed and the weather was quite good... So hit the spot with bass in mind, but no one show... The first hour was passed counting crabs, and suddenly crabs bite stopped and fishes started to show up... The first was the hound, so we were high, because this spot has already produced nice ones, but unfortunately he will be the only one... After that we started catching whiting and a gunard (first one)... around nine we started back catching crabs so we called it a day and packed up... This time no dogfish (maybe the sea was a little bit to rough for them...)...

Yes exactly, having a new species makes you feeling that you progress.....

Very good.... :lol: :lol: ....Always taking the dogs while fishing espaecially at night so if you see a guy with a crazy black lab or an old colley it's me....
