dalhriada rocks

well lads after my diasaster on the co down coast i'm heading back up
north, possibly dalhriada rocks just north of waterfoot, and just wanted
to know if any one has been there lately or can give me some advice
on rigs and baits etc, i normally fish waterfoot pier but want to land
something other than flounder and dogies.
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

09 so far--codling coalies plaice flounder turbot 3&5 bearded rockling doggies whitting shanny and a [color=#FF0000]5lb [/color]huss thornback ray squid starfish mackeral pollack corkwing wrasse ballan wrasse [color=#FF0000]5lb 6oz [/color]conger

I have been fishing here a few times off the rocks to the left and right of the small pier in the housing estate
beside Dalriada. I have ben spinning with silver lures and about 2 months ago I got a 3lb pallock close in off the
rocks. While bait fishing with wragg and squid Ive had the usual flatties and Dogs. Last year around November
I was fishing with squid at night time and caught about 10 small Codling. Nothing big tho
