People:Myself and Carpets

Duration:9pm- 11pm

Tide:falling

Weather:UNREAL,,,,,water was like glass
l
Bait:A few live lug

Rigs:3/0 Pennel Pulleys

Results:Myself 1 Bass & 1 L.S.D.
Carpets Blank




Report:Decided to put in a couple of hours on the Bass last night, dug a few lug and headed out later. Arrived and had a chat with a few lads already fishing, they said they were there the previous night until 3am and got nothin ....not a good sign !!!
Set up and we put the first bait in the water, one of the lads we had been talking too, appeared out of the darkness to tell us he had just got a Bass on lug, good man Darcy :wink: Right on cue my bait got hammered......wait for it....wait..nod ..nod.. strike....fish on..for a small fish he gave some fight in the calm water.
Weigh , picture and release he was on his way.
Second cast I got hit again,,, but I missed on the strike :roll:

All quiet then for the night for the both of us, no more bites ,,,,bar the first L.S.D. of the year for this venue...after we were just discussing the lack of them here this year....


Up this moring then at 6am to go and boat fish Tusker Rock....life is hard 8)
