Killybegs Harbour and Teelin Pier

Fished Killybegs harbour on Sat the 6th got approx 8 Mack most very small, would have maybe caught more but my beachcaster snapped. :(
Fished again on Sunday HT with small spinning rod and german sprat not a touch.
Drove round to Teelin and got two small macks of Pier.

It was an old telescopic one I've had for years cant even remember the make. I wasnt suprised it snapped.

Killybegs harbour itself is not great. Only macks and very few at that.

You need to get out further, there are some rocks out at the headland that will produce BIG pollock and as many macks as you can carry.

you can have good crack fishing for the mullet from that pier, apart from that its not a great spot.
as anthony2carr said the headland is a better spot, there are some very good rock marks all around that area that fish very well,
some very good conger to be had off some of them marks.
as ole rab c said " see me' see the sea' i love the sea me"
right i'am off for a swally!!!!!!! so were's the F***'n purse!!!!!!!

Thanks for you comments and tips I am heading up this weekend again :D with the wife :( , I guess I'd betted get her a good book to read.
