Since many of you guys use Penn reel i thought i might ask you for this..

I have been offered to buy a lads fishing equipment since he's laying of totally now.

He said the following about the rod & reel

1 Penn boatrod (don't know what model)
1 Penn 185 Seaboy reel

Stock-prices (according to him is)

Didn't know anything about the reel but had a search for you and it seems the price quoted for the reel is a bit out :shock:
Found this list at 'Solent Tackle' wherever they are.:
5MP PENN 525 MAG £100
6MP PENN 535 MAG £100
7MP PENN SEABOY(BOAT REEL) £37.50
Don't know what the postage cost is to your part of the World but I doubt if it comes to £43.50!!!

Thanks alot gowerray, this is all I need to know... postage from UK to sweden is 31£.

I will not buy his gear..
