what tip tape do you use and why?and any links for sellers or which shops stock it,

I got mine from a shop on ebay. If you go onto ebay and put MIGHTY BRIGHT in the seach bar it will show all the stuff they do. I found the tip tape really good and more importantly very cheap. I have red on one tip and white on the other which helps me, but I think they do lots of other colours as well.

i usually get the 3m stuff on ebay roger ill look for one and send you a pm
ive tried all the shops over here and cant seem to get good stuff in them

I use sakuma reflective tape visible from 70 yards under low light 1 pack does 2 rods costs €4 available from the lads in courtown, would highly recommend it.

tried gemini and it was useless, the 'sea match' stuff is pretty good but i cant find a supplier of the stuff anymore

halfords in coolock have it... mightybright stuff is good too. the seamatch is the 3m stuff... bulky though. some bicycle shops have it too. anyone know where i can get some pink? Keith? :D

you can get red in halfords, close enough

The best stuff is Migty brite from the ebay user crazyplums, he's also a member on WSF, nice guy, very very good tape. He also has a new version of it which is black in normal light but is very very reflective. Great tape.

might give the mighty bright a go sounds good used the sakuma last time it is good if not a bit pricey

Go down to your local autofactors and ask them for a sheet of reflective number plate backing.

Cost me about 5euro and I got enough out of it for 4 rods , 2 1/2 - 3 foot coverage on each.

Youl see your rod tips as clear as day at unbelievable ranges :shock:

I've used PTFE plumbers tape for years now and have found it a good substitute.
i get by with a little help from my friends.

why ptfe tape? its not one bit reflective i know its white but any sort of reflective tape would be better than that :wink:
