Report:trying out the braid on the beach. managed to slice my thumb up on retrieving. never happened on the rocks? something to do with the sand? bite detection was great though. fixed spool will be better. missed 2 other bites- flounder. my snoods may have been a bit short. never missed one before?! one of those days...the sea has humbled me.
