#1 Post by Ross »

People: Ross, John, Alan, Gary

Duration: 3 days

Tide: All stages

Weather: Wet, Wild

Bait: Crab, Mackerel

Rigs: Float and bottom 1 hook

Results: Ballan Wrasse including a specimen of 5 lbs. 8 ozs. for John.
Pollock to float fished crab! and floatfished mackerel. Conger to bottom fished mackerel.
Pollock were around 4 lb. mark. Conger to 10 lb.

Report:
I had a party of Scottish anglers with me for 3 days. Despite the wild and wet weather we found some shelterd marks at The Bridges of Ross and Baltard Bay where we could safely fish. Highlight was a Specimen Ballan Wrasse for John!
