Re: ROD FOR FLOUNDER FISHING
It depends how much you are willing to spend. On the high end you have the Conoflex Flattie Fanatic, AA Estuary. In the mid-range you have the Greys BZe (1 to 3 oz). In the lower price Shakespeare Salt Flattie rod is getting some pretty decent ratings.
I am using the AA Estuary for my flattie fishing and I find it excellent. I've used the BZe in the past and thought it was a great rod also. I'm sure some of the lads will give you other alternatives.
Best of luck with whatever you get.

All fishermen are liars except you and me and to tell you the truth, I'm not so sure about you!

Re: ROD FOR FLOUNDER FISHING
i use a spinning rod, leeda quicksilver 11', rated to cast 2oz i find it very good for targeting all flats and because it is light, even a flounder can put up a good fight ( i have even used it at a fishing competition where flatties seemed to be the main species, i ended up winning
