anyone know how malin head is fishing or what's the best baits/methods?

dont know how its fishing but baits would be makerel ,ragworm lug,sandeels rigs a two hook patenoster or a pulley rig over the rough grouind.

Never fished here before but a similar question was posted on another site and apparently peeler crab is a top bait at Malin.

get your hands on a few large crabs, you should get some laying about the pier,
crack them open and use what is called "dead mans fingers" the crabs gills'
these work great off malin.
we were down there a few nights ago, used two hook flappers.
place is teaming with coalies, getting them on every cast,
also a couple of desent pollock from the rocks at the back
of the pier, got them on sandeel.....
