Hi guys,
Going to South of France in September Fitou near Leucate Plage any info greatly appreciated. Kieran Read your post on Cap D'Agde but looking for any other info I can Get. Boat, Shore or Fly.

Hi

spinning or fly gear is all you will need - hunting bass in rocky shore areas can be very productive around dusk, otherwise small bream and similar just offshore, no more than 20 metre casts - very little in the way of surf there.

Mullet and small bream in harbours, ground baiting works. Sting and other rays in bigger harbour mouths so wire traces needed for these and for the eels, some of which have teeth you can not believe. Octopus are the super bait stealers here, tiny little things the size of your finger....
