You can pick up any of the Ron Thompson rods for that price. They are cheap as chips but very good value. The G-Force will set you back about 35-40 sterling, it's a fairly decent rod (it won Sea Angler rod of the year two years ago). Have fished with one and it's user friendly and casts well.

You could also find the Mustad fixed spool rod for about 55 sterling. Quality wise this is much better, the rings/fittings etc will last a lot longer.

If you are looking for a multi section surf rod, take a look at the new Fox Sea Trek. It's a six piece 11'6 rod, so would easily fit in the suitcase. It's 70 sterling. If you are looking for something lighter, any of the Shimano Exage or Beastmaster spinning rods would be spot on.

One more you might like to look at is the Daiwa Longbeam - if you look through Sea Angler you can find them on sale for 30 sterling.

I found a pair of surfcastingrods made by ZEBCO cool surf 12 in lengths from 3,9meters to 5meters (12 feet to 16 feet) and very very cheap prices around 36£ and the good thing is that they are here in sweden.

I also found some surfcastingrods at tacklebargain, but I think I´ll try the Zebco rods out.

Well... i'd rather see that greece wins, the band that sings for greece this year comes from sweden and my woman is from greece so I better do as she says... they have an awful temper those greeks.. ;)
