Small Dog Fish Landed in Dunmore

Noticed on the Rinnashark web site pictures of boxes very small Dog fish landed in Dunmore what is being used to catch dog fish about 25cm long and can we do anything to have it stopped.

Thats terrible :evil: !! I hate to see the commercials wiping out the juvenile fish stock like that. :evil:

I dont know if there is anything we can do about it. Is there size limits ?? If not there should be size limits set up for all the different species !!!! This would force the comercial fishermen to give the fish a chance to breed (similar to what has been done with Bass) which in the long term would benifit them also. If they werent so short sighted !! :evil: :evil:

there most likely by catch from prawn boats , then theyll be used as bait for whelks..
Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.

well i know they are targeting them in the estuary for the pots its like winning the lotto or even euro millions now to catch on in waterford estuary.
