People:Myself

Duration:19:00-22:00

Tide:LW:22:30

Weather:Calm and mostly sunny for a change!

Bait:Sandeels

Rigs:2 up 3/0s

Results:5 Bass

Report:Headed out for a bit of fishing with the nice evening. Was'nt expecting very much as the fishing around Tralee has been poor for me over the last few weeks.Fished sandeels letting them trot around in the strong curent.Had nothing for the first hour but then my rod and rest were pulled over before i could get my arse up off my seat, and after a good scrap landed a nice Bass of 68cms.Quiet after that again for a while but as dusk fell starting getting bites most casts.Had my biggest ever Bass of 72cms :D and 3 more about 2lbs each.Ran out of sandeels around 10 so packed up a happy man.

Great result there mate.

Just goes to show though, you can never bring enough bait...makes you wonder how many more you'd have had if you didnt run out of bait
