dublin bass 13-8-08

#1 Post by brianbru »

People:me and a couple of others

Duration:9 till 12

Tide:high w was 10 30

Weather:west winds

Bait: fresh crab

Rigs:pennells

Results: first ever Dublin bass

Report: i went to a mark that i haven't fished in years with a couple of mates. set up in the dark and with out delay we got the gears into the water. after about an hour and a half nothing was showing until my rod took a lovely hit i lifted into a nice schoolie of 2lb, not only did it take 8 months to catch my 1st bass of the year but for it to be in Dublin one it made it even sweeter. ive caught dozens of bass all over the country but this one is right up there

Dublin Bass are alive and kicking :D :D :D

Nice one Brian, I got a double shot of Bass a few weeks ago....in Dublin.

I have a feeling its the same mark judging by those lights in the background.

Without giving too much away, is it a long walk to the mark :?:
