Fanore Beach and Black Head 08/09. 08. 08

#1 Post by tomi »

People: myself and Adam

Duration: 21.00- 02.00

Tide: ?

Weather: windy, rain later

Bait: mack and shrimp

Rigs: 2-3 hook flappers, pulleys

Results: blank on the beach, 3 congers and one bull huss, on Black Head

C&R: yes

Report:

Absolutely nothing on the Fanore, not even a weaver fish... Two others were fishing a bit further, with no luck ether. Wind starts to blow stronger, so we give up around 23.00, and move back towards light house, hoping that spot will save as a blank. Soon we find out, that was good decision.
Just after fief minutes Adam had first bite, and after short fight a nice huss was smiling to the camera

After short while, i was play with fish as well. Conger this time.

It didn't take long time, to land another two Congers- one each, so we finished with 2-2 score. We left just before 02.00, half wet. Bloody rain all the way back to Galway...

We had no scale weight with us...
Didn't measure fish aether.
If I take scale with me next time, propably I catch nothing weigh worth
It is not a matter of upper or lower class, but of being up a while and down a while...
