Wexford, Secret marks.... 4/5/6 Aug

#1 Post by Tanglerat »

People: Me, Pat and Andy

Duration: Morning and evenings

Tide: Yes, there was tide....

Weather: Mixed

Bait: Surface lures

Rigs:

Results: Big fish

Report: Just a quick one lads, the morning session has been called off today due to weather.

First day was 2 Bass for me, both personal bests, a 4 lber and a 8 lber that hit like a train.

Yesterday was just one fish, but what a fish..... 11.5 pounder that hit right under my feet. Specimen fish!

Photos on Jim's Blog, apparently.

More later.

Back home at last (and that's another tale) and still chuffed to bits. It took a surface popper, a Magnetix, I think. I'll have to check, it was one of Jim's but I've got it now as a souviner.

11.5 Bass, Caught and Released. Fish of a lifetime............ :D
