quick question about dollymount

Hi lads, I heard that the wooden bridge can be good for fishing for bass,just a quick question, do you fish off the bridge or beside it? cheers ian

over the bridge on the right. fish onto sandbank into shallow water as tide rises. crab is preferable over rag, sandeel catches too... all along here sees bass on the rise. i am not speaking from personal experience but know lads that took fish there. plugs will take fish too but it's boring and usually unproductive, weed is a nuisance too. up towards st annes park sees fish in the gulley on the rise. u can pass the time fishing for mullet too. weed can be severe at times. dont bother with a shockleader. try to fish in the evening. there are better places but big double figure fish have been taken in the past.

hi m.b.3 thanks for your help, im new to the bass fishing so i havnt a clue where to start. Il try the spots you said tomorrow night and il stick up a report if i get anything, thanks again, ian
