smelly boot!!!!

#1 Post by fishermannum1 »

finally got a cure for the boot of the car, usually i would chuck the bait into a plastic bag and chuck that into the boot, and as always some of the juice from the bait will find a way out of the bag and into the carpet of the boot, RESULTS!!! car is minging for days. so yesterday i went and got a large bag of cat litter and dumped the lot into the boot and left it overnight. this morning sweep it all out and hoovered the boot. SMELL GONE!!! for i was thinking, this stuff is used to take away the odor's of cats piss, so it might work on the odor's from split bait in the boot, and it did........going to get some more and put it into my sons trainers

Yep, the cat litter, especially the cheap stuff is made from fullers Earth. This stuff is highly absorbant. It is used for oil spill clean ups as well.

A little tip for you num1. I think you do some fly fishing. If you mix fullers earth with washing up liquid and water and make it into a dough, you now have a perfect leader de-greaseant.

Why not leave the boot smell.
Wife, kids and mother in law now refuse to travel with me. Escaped peelers are probably best.
