Fished most of the flood from about 8pm to midnight at Rinvyle in Co Galway, using mack and squid for bait.
Only managed 2 flounder and a weever fish for my troubles this time, was hoping for more as I had a great session here last year
Interestingly a couple of locals thought I was wasting my time and I dont think they believed me when I told them of the session I had there last year  I must have just caught it on a good day!

pity about the result
another of the hot/cold beaches out there
which side of the beach were you on as you faced the sea?
ye tonked us 4-0 in the end could easily have been 8-0
if the keeper hadnt gifted ye the first i think it would have been different
always a dreamer!

I was just beside the wee rocky outcrop at the bottom of the campsite beside where the wee river enters the sea. Lovely spot though, I was just happy enough sitting there.
Yep, your keeper was shite (and not just for the first goal!) but to be fair Galway came back into it in the 2nd half and forced some good saves from our keeper. Best of luck for the rest of the season anyway, hope yeez stay up.
