Thanks to seeing shamoo's report i got the itch to go look for Bass,

Caught this fella on the Sandeel.. Had one other noticeable bite but felt nothing on and when I checked the bait I found that whatever it was that showed interest had gone for the Sandeel as the lug on the other snood was ok but the eel was mashed so all 4 hooks got baited up with eel and lobbed out again.. then this fella paid a short visit,

Felt good to try the Bass again

all in all its been a good few days fishing for me i have really enjoyed being out,

amongst other fish was a 22.25lb Conger / this Bass and i mustn't forget the specimen Mullet that came to my fly,

Cheers lads,

Thanks again Shamoo for the push I needed to go for the Bass.. Just looking at the fish you caught did it for me,

I hear there’s a measuring tape you can buy that gives a weight for whatever the length of the fish.. I think it just works for bass.

Can anybody give me a link to any place that sell’s this tape as nobody has heard of it here in limerick,

It would save me time and the hassle of weighing the fish in the future.

Thanks.
