Report:Headed out for yet another mullet bash.There was plenty of fish from the minute i arrived so i threw in some floating freebies and immediately spotted a nice mullet of about 3-4lb happily sucking them from the surface.I quickly baited up and cast out 3 foot infront of it,next thing i heard a big splash and looked up to see 2 people in lidls blow up kayaks coming towards me which made all the mullet infront of me scarper :(
After the kayaks had moved so did i and moved down to where i had the fish last night.It wasn`t long before i had the first mullet in the net,a small fish of 2lb but more than welcome :)
By now the tide was dropping fast and the mullet were gathering in big numbers at the corner.A few missed bites then i was in to my second fish of the night,this one put up a better fight but i got it in the net and the scales went to 3.35lb :D a quick photo and it was back in the water.I missed another couple of bites before the mullet had moved away.
Another very enjoyable session :D
