I certainly hope so. Didnt get one last year at all but spoke to a couple of guys on lures and got this one on a Rapala Sliver. I can really see why you can get hooked on bass fishing went down to Old head of kinsale lastnight only got one pollock but that some hike down to the rocks..............and an even harder one going back up.

Much nicer getting them on lures than on bait.

Thats a great fish - well done.
Good to know that there are bass of that size about in East Cork - especially in Inch. I have never had much success fishing there apart from the occasional coalfish in the winter and dogfish. I guess you got there before the damn surfers
What weight was it?
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)
Cod season Winter 2014/15: 193 cod (best fish: 4.25 lbs)

Bass Totals:
2007: 1
2008: 37
2009: 120
2010: 44
2011: 151
2012: 79
2013: 20
2014: 19
2015: 11
2016: 3
