People:me

Duration:6.30 till 10.00

Tide:full at 8 ish

Weather:lovely

Bait:rag launce squid

Rigs:3 hook flap

Results:7 doggies 5 flounder and 1 pollock




Report:walking down to the mark got told i was wasting my time as 6 lads had caught one pollock between them all day!its a shame they left as all the fish started to bite as i arrived :shock: sandeel was getting instant hits from the doggies so after 7 i started fishing in close for flounder,a lad spinning next to me at the river mouth got a nice few launce and some mac (4 or 5) the birds were hammering sprat right at the mouth of the stream till it got dark then the bats arrived for their dinner 8)

Hi Roger, not sure where that mark is as ive only fished mostly at the rocks at the harbour but a lad was getting launce, pollock and mack there spinning beside me the other night. Seemed to be plenty about , i was going to try spinning myself but we got talking about the site and it got too dark :lol: :lol:
Species '20 (14) 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Codling, Whiting, Pollock, Coalfish, Pouting, Corkwing Wrasse ,Ballan Wrasse, Poor Cod, Dab ,Smoothhound,Flounder, Thornback Ray


For the rich, there is therapy. For the rest of us, there is FISHING! --
