Shimano Torium 14/16

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Have bought two 14's. Using them on the boat this weekend hopefully. They seem the business for boat fishing upto 60ft depth. Think the 16's would be awesome for wrecking etc in deeper water. The trend in england is for smaller reels, braid and lighter rods.

buy them before she sees something nice, shimano are the king of reels.after just 1 session(even a blank) i doubt you`ll ever use abu again.

Have used them 3 times now. Had one 9lb thornback that took line in the tide. Would never buy anything else again. Superb reels!!!! I bet the 16 would handle any sea fishing you want but the 14 ideal for fishing up to 80-100ft.

:D :D :D
